Now Hiring - Assistant General Manager (AGM) - Student Housing in Tallahassee, FL

We are looking for an Assistant General Manager to assist with the day to day operations in maintaining this property. This individual is needed to set the stage for an incredible high level of customer service to our residents, vendors, and employees.

The role as Assistant General Manager will include:

• Work with ownership to ensure all company financial and business objectives are being achieved
• Help to steer the NOI by managing occupancy at the maximum achievable rents
• Lead by example on effective lease negotiations, help with renewal strategies, and resident retention/resident satisfaction plans
• Assist with the community operations and functions as directed
• Keep a watchful eye over the community in accordance with company standard
• Aid in providing regular operations efficiency reports as required
• Champion all efforts with rent collections
• Utilize marketing strategies to ensure traffic (i.e. competitive rental rates, promotions, locators)
• Knowledge in all phases of leasing & resident retention specifically in trending marketing strategies directed to college students

Here's the stuff we are looking for in the individual who wants to join our team:

• Must be well organized, outgoing, detail-oriented, professional, and provide excellent customer service
• Minimum of two to three years in an assistant community manager role
• Student housing experience a must
• Comprehension of federal fair housing laws and any applicable local housing provisions
• Capable of performing duties with limited supervision
• Essential ability to meet deadlines
• Experience with Property Management software a must

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 per year
